Since it was founded in 1990, Zentrum Gesundheit has developed into the leading specialist in ophthalmology in northern Germany. With 12 branches at 9 locations, Zentrum Gesundheit operates the largest group of medical care centers (MVZ) for ophthalmology in Lower Saxony and Bremen. NORD Holding holds the majority of the shares and has recently acquired Munich based Realeyes doubling the groups operations.

Dr. Kerstin Eisenbeiss was appointed Chief Executive Officer in order to accelerate business growth and equity value. She joins the business from Artemed, an integrated healthcare provider with clinics and outpatient centres, where she served as Executive Director. She previously served as Executive Director at Schön Kliniken.
