Vardis is pleased to have supported Boca Biolistics and its investor, Clairvest, in the recent recruitment of Joe Burick as CFO. Boca Biolistics is a fast-growth biobank and CRO services company based in Florida. Following an investment by Clairvest, a growth-oriented PE investor based in Toronto, Boca Bio undertook a CFO search to strengthen its reporting, accounting and M&A capabilities.

Working closely with Val Adia (CEO), Michael Morris (COO) and the Clairvest team, Vardis helped recruit Joe Burick as CFO. Joe joined the Company from Alvarez & Marsal where he served as a Director in the CFO Services division. He had previously served in senior level finance and accounting roles with Magic Leap, as Chief Financial Officer at Industrial Service Solutions, and with IDEX Corporation, Applied Materials and Goodyear. Burick is a CPA and earned a Bachelors of Science in Accounting and an MBA from the University of Akron.
